Performance video for IMAGINATION DEAD IMAGINE, a music/theatre treatment of Beckett's text, authorized by Beckett, for string quartet, recorded voices and laptop, a unique 40-minute theatrical conflict, a new style Beckett opera wherein the string quartet (non-singing) is the protagonist. Upon encountering a laptop and scores, the quartet reacts, fighting an onslaught of voices declaiming Beckett's text until in the end, the voices disappear and the quartet is alone. The lights fade on each quartet member as one by one they disappear - they cease to exist.  The video, after an introduction, contains excerpts from performances in Prague and Ashland.
